All students who will study at Eskişehir Osmangazi University Department of Industrial Engineering are required to do at least 40 working days of internship during their 4-year education. Internships must be done in between semesters and in businesses that meet the required specifications. The names, durations and periods of internships are given below:

• Internship 1: Its duration is 15 working days and can be done at the earliest at the end of the 4th semester. Internship 1 must be done in a business with a manufacturing workshop. The internship location can be the workshop of any large business, as well as a small or medium-sized business. However, it cannot be a workshop where no engineers work. At least one engineer must be working in the workshop.
• Internship 2: Its duration is 25 working days and can be done at the earliest at the end of the 6th semester. Internship 2 must be done in a medium-sized or large business. At least one industrial engineer must be working in the business.
