Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Industrial Engineering was established in 1975 within the Eskişehir Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences and started education in the 1977-1978 academic year. Today, there are four main branches of science, namely Operations Research, Production and Service Systems, Quality Management and Quality Assurance Systems and Human Machine Systems, and education continues at undergraduate and graduate levels. Our main goal is to provide a high-quality education program in order to ensure that our graduates are preferred at national and international levels. In this direction, it is a priority for our department to train our students as Industrial Engineers who have the knowledge and skills to identify, model, compile data, solve professional problems using modern technical and information technologies, and interpret the results in systems involving humans, machines, materials, energy and information. Our graduates have been working in different units (quality, planning, etc.) in the production and service sectors for many years, and have successfully put into practice the professional knowledge they have gained in courses and internships.
